My Ever Changing Life

  • My Birth

I was born on Easter Monday in Charlotte North Carolina on April 5th,1999. One day after Easter, I've got to say my mom had an amazing Easter gift that year. My song for my birth is Welcome the the Jungle by Guns 'N' Roses. Crazy choice yes but I was welcomed to this ever changing jungle called "life."

    My Life

  • Learned to Ride a Bike

So, I had actually been on training wheels for approximately 2 months but i was taken off because my parents said I didn't need them anymore. This made me 3 years old when I truly learned to ride a bike. The youngest out of my family and my neighbors. My song for this event is One Step at a Time by Jordin Sparks because this was just a small step that would make me who I am.
  • Grandmother's Death

This was my first death experience I had to deal with. Being 8 years old I didn't quite understand that someone could just die in a moment and be gone forever. I was very close with my Grandma and I'm very proud I spent as much time with her as I could. My song for this is What Hurts the Most by Rascall Flatts because it truly hurt me to know that she was gone and I wouldn't be able to tell her all the things i wanted to do and become when I was older.
  • Broke My Leg

The first time I had broken anything. It was in a soccer tournament, the championship game and I must have stepped wrong or got kicked because both legs were in excruciating pain. However, my stubborn self didn't stop, I had adrenaline and determination to win this game. We won the game with pride, I went to the doctor the next day, and found out I broke my right leg and severely hurt the left. My song for this is When You're Young by 3 Doors Down, I was young and invincible, until i was broke.
  • Enlisted in Early College

First off, my song for this is I Stand Alone by Godsmack because I felt I was the only one from my school coming, and that didn't phase me. I was ready to go on my own into this new world. But wow Early College was a ride I was never expecting.
  • Fell in Love

I fell in love with Becky Bagley. It caught me by surprise but I truly know this is a good decision to be with her. My song for this wondrous event is Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows.
  • Graduated ECHS

I didn't think it was possible and I'm sure most of you thought it was impossible as well but wow we somehow did it. We lost some along the way but most of us stuck together and made it! My song for this amazing event is Ride by Martina McBride because wow the whole ECHS experience was an insane roller coaster.
  • First day at Wingate University

My song for this is Castle of Glass by Linkin Park because I thought I was on top of the world to be accepted; but found out I was only one person in a major crowd of people who shared my dreams.
  • Old Friend's Death

I found out that an old best friend of my mine was killed in a bad car accident. It was so unexpected and heartbreaking that I failed my classes that semester and had the hardest time accepting it. My song for this tragic event is See You Again by Wiz Kalifa and Charlie Puth because I know for a fact that I'll see him again on the other side someday.
  • Graduation from Wingate University

I finally graduated!! I got my Master's Degree and majored in Pharmacy. It was truly a happy moment for me and I knew I was over with school for the rest of my life. I instantly started looking for Pharmacist openings and landed myself a job in the medical field of my dreams. My song for this is Light 'Em Up by Fallout Boy because gosh I felt like I was on fire and unstoppable.
  • Got Married

Finally decided to tie the knot so to speak. I got married to my lifelong love Becky Bagley who I've been with since High School and all through College. Was there honestly any doubt? My song for this perfect event is You Make Me Smile by Uncle Kracker. Because no one makes me smile or feel as amazing as her.
