After taking leave from my full time teaching position in Va, I was looking for a way to earn income while being both a graduate student and mom to an infant and toddler. I worked as a substitute teacher in Hardy Count, WV.

    Preschool Teacher

I stopped substituting and instead worked as the certified preschool teacher at Hardy County Child Care Center. This opportunity allowed me to earn an income and have my children at work with me. The more flexible schedule allowed time for me to concentrate on completing coursework for my masters degree. It was a win-win, they got a certified preschool teacher and I got a job that met my personal needs.
