Music Autobiography

  • Born

    Born
My Wish - Rascal FlattsThis was the day that I came to be in this world. Without it I surely would not be where I am today.
  • First Birthday

    First Birthday
Happy BirthdayWe had a big celebration, and although I may remember nothing about this, the pictures are probably there somewhere and super cute.
  • Graduated Preschool

    Graduated Preschool
GraduationThis was a big moment for me because I would be going to actual school now. I did not realize in that moment how hard it would eventually get to be though, or else I would have dropped out years ago.
  • Started Kindergarten

    Started Kindergarten
This was a great time of my life. It was much harder than preschool though and I didn’t know how to spell yet, but that obviously didn’t stop me from pursuing my dreams.
  • Moved to South Carolina

    Moved to South Carolina
This was pretty difficult because I had to move in the middle of the school year. The first day I rode the bus home I missed my stop and was left all alone on the bus and it was very scary. I didn’t even know where I lived yet so I couldn’t tell the bus driver where to go. I didn’t get home until she called the school and got my address a certain amount of minutes that I cannot recall later.
  • Moved to New Jersey

    Moved to New Jersey
This wasn’t so bad because I had already moved about 6 months ago. The worst part was being so far away from my family in North Carolina (and Carowinds). It was pretty cool though because we moved so close to New York City which we got to visit a lot.
  • Moved to North Carolina

    Moved to North Carolina
Carolina In My Mind - James TaylorIn seventh grade we moved back to North Carolina. This was the worst move because I had to leave my best friends behind that I had been friends with for the longest. I went from a class of about 120 students to a class of about 400 students at Harris Road and it was kind of scary at first.
  • Started High School

    Started High School
I got accepted into Early College, which was a relief because I did not want to go to Cox Mill, and I knew this would be an amazing opportunity for me.
  • Got license/car

    Got license/car
Life is A Highway - Rascal Flatts
I passed my driver’s test and started cruising around town 24/7. No longer did I have to suffer those hour bus rides and not getting home until around 5:10 after school. This gave me more time to relax, do homework, and just more freedom overall to do what I pleased.
  • Graduated High School

    Graduated High School
High School GraduationI graduated High School with only one C in Chemistry that tarnished my report card and GPA forever. I tried my best to make all A’s in everything else to pull it up, but the higher level college classes were harder than I expected.
  • Got into college

    Got into college
I got into college and decided on my major and career. It was very hard to choose, but in the end I knew what was best (and easiest).
  • Graduated college

    Graduated college
After 2-4 more years of college I finally graduated again and began to pursue further aspirations. I wanted to go skydiving, but that didn’t happen because I was told to focus on getting a job and paying off student debt.
  • Got job

    Got job
I got my first full-time job. I didn’t make that much money, but it was much more than what I was making in high school (which was nothing).
  • Got married

    Got married
Marry You -Bruno MarsMy true love proposed so romantically and I said yes of course. We got married 6 months later and it was the best day of my life.
  • Bought a house

    Bought a house
My husband and I decided to buy our first house. It was not our dream home, but it was still pretty good for what we could afford at the time. Eventually we will have a much nicer house though and hopefully our dream home.
  • Had child

    Had child
We had our first child and this then became the actual best day of my life. Although being in labor really sucks, it’s worth it to have your own baby at the end of it.
