Most Important Moments In My Life

  • The Day I Was Born

    The Day I Was Born
This was the day I was born. It's important because I'm the oldest and I was my moms first daughter and child. Peoples births are symbolic, we celebrate them yearly just to congratulate another year of life and this is when it all started for me.
  • The Day My Brother Was Born

The Day My Brother Was Born
My brother was a New Years Eve baby and everyone celebrated for more than just the New Years that day. I didn't really care much at the age of one if I had a sibling or not, but we've grown to be best friends. I'm very grateful my brother was put on this planet.
  • The Day My Sister Was Born

The Day My Sister Was Born
My sister being born in December of 2000 was a big deal she was born in the new millennium. My parents always joked and said she was an "accident" but gosh am I happy that accident happened. My sister is the most important person in my life. She's helps me through more tough times than I can count. We are each others support system.
  • The Year I Started Ballet

    The Year I Started Ballet
Around the age of five I started ballet. This is important to me because at that young age I always wanted to be a ballerina, although it didn't go on for long, it taught me how important it was to have a dream. I learned a lot of patience and determination through ballet.
  • The Year I Started Karate

    The Year I Started Karate
A couple years after starting ballet I decided I wanted to be tough and go for karate with my brother and little sister. I loved everything about karate, the punching, kicking, even that weird little sound you would make after every punch or kick you did. Learning karate was some of the most entertaining and fun times growing up and I believe it strengthened the bond between my siblings and I.
  • The Time I Met My Best Friend

The Time I Met My Best Friend
I still remember seeing my best friend, Joe, coming in as a new student in the fourth grade. We had music class first and I was talking while he was trying to listen to the teacher, he turned around and told me, "Shut up!" That was the beginning of our friendship which started off as two kids being mean to each other and later grew into love. I didn't know it then, but Joe became more than just a friend, he became family.
  • The Time I Got Sick

    The Time I Got Sick
Around the time I finished 6th grade I got really sick and nobody thought much of it even my mom thought I was over exaggerating. What started off as a sore throat later lead to a heart condition, which I had to be hospitalized for. I spent my whole summer in the hospital and didn't even get to enjoy our annual water balloon fight!
  • The Time I Got Through My Sickness

The Time I Got Through My Sickness
A couple months later I started feeling better and went back to school like normal except I now had to get shots once a month to keep my heart strong and prevent an emergency surgery. Experiencing a crazy sickness like that made me appreciate life more and also helped me get over my fear of needles. Yea, it sucks to go spend a whole day waiting at the doctors office so can poke around your body, but I'm now healthy.
  • The Year I Started High School

The Year I Started High School
I started high school and I was so excited! This was important to me because I always thought high school was going to be fun, but boy was I wrong! It's not as easy as middle school, but if I work hard I know I can make it. This is the moment I realized I need to think about my future goals.
  • The Time I Got My First Job

The Time I Got My First Job
The first job is something you always remember whether it's a good experience or a bad. Having a job taught me how to be more independent and it helped me grow as a person. I'm grateful for the oppurtunity to learn more in the working world.
