this exposed me to 'american' culture, which i essentially grew up with. this was also important because i had to adapt to a new system of life in nyc, coming from malaysia. i also had to leave my best friend at the time, which was hard for me as a younger child.

this developed an interest in me for rock-climbing, which continues to this day. i also had a fear of heights that i came over that day

this was my dream as a kid; just to go to disneyworld for a vacation, so this was a really happy part of my life.

this lead me to a school that i could try new things at and meet new people that would soon be my friends.

this reunited me back to my relatives that couldn't come visit us in nyc and i could spend more time with them. since before this, i only spent a little while in malaysia before moving to nyc, i got to experience more things in malaysia
