    Returning soldiers wanted families. With the rise of babies coming in the people of the United States bought more goods which in turned made people worked more. The basic idea is that with the Baby Boom everyone did better.

    After the death of loved president FDR. President Harry S. Truman took over and created his policy of the "New Deal" and named it the Fair Deal.

    Rosa Parks stays seated
    In 1955, Rosa parks decided to sit in the front of a public bus. At that time it was Illegal for an African American to sit in the front of the bus. Moments passed and a white lady came in the bus and demmanded Rosa parks to move to the back of the bus. She refused and was later sent to jail.

    Birth of my Father.
    Agustin Romo father of four children was born on December 26, 1960, right after Christmas. I guess you can say he was a gift from Santa. With only a 6th grade education he provides enough wealth to keep our family pushing forwward. My father is the most hard working man in my eyes. He never seems to stop working to create better oppurtunities for me and my siblings. Thanks dad.

    My parents were born in a place called Teocaltiche Jalisco. My father recieved a job offer were he would transport goods in a trailer. Sadly the job was only available to do in the United States. He then would travel alone to trasnport the boxed goods. Months past and my mother grew tired of not seeing my father so she moved to the United States with him.

    My mother was born into a family where she had 11 other siblings. She was the one that would cook when my grandmother couldn't or clean when she couldn't. My mother is one of the hardest working people in my life. She constantly supports me in my life decisions and encourages me to get a higher edication to not work as what she calls a "Donkey"

    The decision made in the Roe V. Wade was a great win for womn activists. The decion made it legal for women o hav abortions. After two years of waiting it finally came down to whawt women trully wanted.

    President Ronald Reagan appoints first woman supreme court judge.
    Ronald Reagan appointed three justices, and promoted an associate justice to Chief Justice:
    Sandra Day O'Connor was appointed by Reagan in 1981. She was the first female to serve on the court.
    Antonin Scalia was appointed by Reagan in 1986.
    William Renquist was appointed Chief Justice by Reagan in 1986, but he had served on the court since 1972.
    Anthony Kennedy was appointed by Reagan in 1988. Scalia and Kennedy are still serving as justices. Renquist died in 2005, and O'Connor retired.

    My father arrived to America for the first time only to work. As a truck driver he would constantly travel and rarely see my mother and their two sons. My mother became impatient and finally decided to come with him to the U.S. Where I was later born.
