    Your Council Jobs
    Locally Your Council Jobs is a must, plus make sure you have registered with TES, Guardian Jobs, The Daily Telegraph Jobs, FE Jobs etc.
  • Have a look at teaching fairs taking place nationally

  • Register with MMU Jobs hub to access teaching vacancies notified to MMU Careers Service

  • Getting your first teaching job: Course event

  • Start to research local authorities and find vacancies

    Finding Vacancies - Teaching and Support staff Make sure you are registered with all available vacancy sites and relevant agencies. - See the above link and your "Finding a Teaching Job" handout for further information.
  • Final date by which teachers leaving their jobs in the summer must resign, so more jobs will appear around this time

  • Remember you can continue to use MMU Careers Service for up to 3 years after you have finished.
