    From my Birth to Today

  • Got my Dog

We received my dog, Millie, for Christmas when I was five. She is very stupid, but we love her just the same!
  • Saw A Midsummer Night's Dream at Kentwood

This was the first Kentwood play I saw, because my sister was a fairy in the production, and I loved it! I have not missed a single Kentwood show since, and I believe this spurred what has become a near obsession with theatre.
  • My Niece's Birth

My niece and I are very close and I absolutely love her! My mom remembers me reading in the corner of the delivery room as my sister was giving birth so that I didn't have to watch, but I remember her forcing me to. We both remember it being a very long night, and sleeping on the couch of the hostpital waiting room.
  • Started Playing Cello

Fifth grade was the first time that I started seriously playing an instrument, the cello, which I still play today. I now play a couple other instruments as well, and music is a very important part of my life.
  • Started Playing Fastpitch for the Acers

I started playing competition year-round fastpitch for the Acers organization, and I have played for the same team ever since! Fastpitch has become a very large and important part of my life.
  • Started Running Kentwood Cross Country

While I started running reluctantly and worried at first about what I had gotten myself into, I ended up really enjoying the sport! It is now very important to me, and I am going to be girl's team captain next year!
  • Got my License

Getting my license was very exciting for me, and I love the freedom that comes with being able to transport myself from place to place.
  • Met Alice Ripley

Although the name may not be familiar to most, Alice Ripley is brilliant actress and singer who won a Tony for her starring role in one of my favorite musicals, Next to Normal. I saw her in a Seattle production of Carrie the Musical, and got the opportunity to meet her after the show. It was extremely exciting for me!
