When I fell in love with explaining things in various ways.
Also when I started my I will succeed project, and got my teacher to continue this project even after i left school -
6th Grade - went to a trip from school. The teacher told us to get our maps, a compass and to make sure everyone gets to navigate. I was in a group with a kid who had a tendency of getting lost- I asked if we could skip his turn. She said no and if we get lost we should just stay put until she finds us. There where no cell phones then. We got lost and I found the ability to keep it together for others who are weaker. I also learned real frustration for the 1st time.
-
Where I found out I'm missing some social skills and I had to power through to finish it. When I learned how to motivate myself when motivation is lacking
-
Ever since my army days I have been great when it came to fixing computer issues. I have always been the "go to fixer" among my friends.
-
When I realized I am an empath and it is hard for me to sit in on one on ones and not take other people's issues home with me, even if I don't know them.
-
The first time I realized I can literally do anything.
-
I had my BA in a room full of MA students. I learned you can be just as sharp and just as smart if you don't allow yourself to be confused by other people's diplomas and credentials. As long as I believe in my self I have something to contribute.
-
Ever since I can remember my self I am afraid of heights, that being said I hate having to admit it. So I found my courage and stood up against my fears -
The only thing I ever started and didn't finish. To be honest I finished the course but I didn't complete the final task. I entered the course to learn about marketing for my business and learned a lot about prioritizing and that was a true gift.
-
Ever since I can remember I was afraid of talking in front of people, and yet I always have a lot to say. My business got me to talk in front of 40 beautiful women on personal growth and empowerment and I got this as a birthday present I gave myself - lots of stress and tons of joy. -
I was raised on the phrase "practice makes perfect". I always strive to perfection, however it slowed me down until on this day I met a guy who taught me a new way of thinking.. So I took this screen shot to remind me that it's O.K to try and make mistakes. As long as I keep trying I didn't fail. Also small progress is still progress. -
I hate cameras. I don't like the way I come up in pictures or videos - so I became an extra in some TV series. This was the 1st one of which. I learned a lot about life that day. mostly about discrimination. Didn't see it coming. -
My business took a serious hit by the corona guide lines and I needed a job that would sustain me, so chose this one. I did not pay much attention to it, but now I see that a lot of the things I do and say in class come from my actual life experiences. The kids grew on me and so did this job, It became a path and I found meaning.
