The Uighur people are a muslim and their language is more like turkish. Most of the Uighur people live in the Xinjiang region of China which is between Mongolia, Pakistan and Afghanistan. However it has been turned into a internment camp where they are forced to learn mandarin, learn China's laws and renounce their faith. They use harsh methods (e.g. whips, nail pliers, batons, needles, etc) to force them into doing what they want.

China said as long as Hong Kong maintains its "de-facto constitution" also known as the Hong Kong basic Law, they would interfere.
