Enlightenment
Late 17th century to 18th century. Some people that were involved were John Locke , Voltaire , Rousseau, and Montesquieu. They all believed in different rights and types of government. -
French Revolution
The French revolution was from 1789 to 1799. King Lious the 16th had taken charge and was over thrown by the people of France and the new leader was Robespiere. He was over thrown to after a few years because of not doing what was agreed on. -
Tennis Court Oath
When 576 out of 577 were locked out of the building they would have done the oath in and it just happened to be on a tennis court. -
Haitian Revolution
The Haitian revolution was from 1791 to 1804. The main treasure in this revolution was the island Saint-Domingue. Toussaint L'Ouverture was the leader of the Haitian revolution. -

A time of madness in France with problems with the king and the new leader Robespiere. ot ended july 28 1794. -
War of Knives
The war of Knives lasted one year from June in 1799 to march in 1800. This war was between Toussaint Louverture and André Rigaud. -

The dates of the opium war are 1839–1842, 1856–1860. Japan asked Brtain to stop tradng the drug opium into Japans ports. -
