In May of 2000, I was a senior in high school and a friend encouraged me to apply to work for an after school program in our area. Working there made me consider teaching as a career for the first time.

I completed my first four years of college as CSUF earning a Bachelor's of Science in Child and Adolecent Development.

I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSUF. My student teaching experiences were both in Capistrano Unified School District in third grade and kindergarten.

After completing a long-term substitute position at a Catholic school, I was hired as a kindergarten teacher.

I taught kindergarten for 9 years at a Catholic School in Santa Ana, CA.

Today, I teach middle school in La Habra, CA

To further my education, after teaching for nearly a decade, I decided to return to CSUF and work towards a Master's degree.
