    The Barbarian invasion of the Western Roman Empire.
    The fall of Rome came about in about 200 CE. Resting on the borders of the roman empire was a Germanic tribe of barbarians called the Goths. The Goths were under attack by another group of barbarians called the Huns, who were invading from the east. This caused a domino effect. The Huns drove the Goths from their land and pushed them back into Rome. Rome tried to stop them, but the outsiders were too strong. And so the collapse of the Roman Empire began.

    The Ninth Crusade was a war between the Muslims and Christians, both believed that they were fighting to restore the Holy Land to God. Both sides had many losses, but in the end, the Muslims triumphed, and the Christians were driven away. The 'holy land' is now commonly referred to as Jerusalem, and is now a place for Christians.
