I wouldn't be who I am without football. The best thing that happened to me was that I was awful when i first played, I couldn't block, hit, catch, was scared to tackle, I was a mess. But that gave me the hunger to come back the next year and play like I deserved some money. Made friends, memories, and lots of plays.

Had to put more emphasis and effort on my hair and how i took care of it. I had waves before but I never had anything more than just a little 'fro. Had to stop washing my hair so much because it was drying my hair out and not letting it grow past half an inch. Now my hair is pretty long, healthy, I get compliments on how I have good hair, and it boosted my confidence.

When covid hit it really made me slow down, and do a lot of contemplating. Really made me think if what i was doing was very beneficial to what i needed to do, and the little things began to stand out more. I became more appreciative of the little things and fully understood that the world doesn't revolve around me.

It helped me appreciate my body even more. Not being able to walk right for almost 2 months does something to your mental, I almost went insane. And all I wanted to do the whole time was walk normally.

Helped respark my love for reading. I was having a tough time wanting to read something, but this book piqued my interest. The best book I've read yet, and it reintroduced me to reading for fun.
