    There was a revolt because the Indian troops were forced to use rifles that were rumored to be lubricated with contained grease that a mixture of pigs’ and cows’ lard, this was against hindu and muslim religion.

    An act was passed that eliminated the East India Company and passed all its assets to the British crown.

    Hindu Indian National Congress Congress Party was created to get rid of foreign rule.
  • Gandhi Arrives in South Africa

    Gandhi arrives in South Africa to work as a lawyer but he is treated very poorly, this is where he gets many of his ideas.
