Kovu was an important part of my family. He was a shar pei who warmed the hearts of everyone who he came across. He was the kindest dog I have ever known. His death broke all of us. As he grew old he began to loose his eye sight and could hardly move from hip problems. He was suffering and we saw that. In the end, my parents decided it was best to put him to sleep
  • Started Kindergarten

  • Heartbreak

The summer before Freshman year, I had become close to one of my classmates. When we started school, we began to hang out. In the middle of first quarter, he had asked me out. I have liked him since we were in seventh grade so, I of course said yes. He was my first boyfriend. I knew deep down that we weren't going to last forever. What I wasn't expecting was that he was going to break up with me after only two months. I lost my best friend that day. The break up had affected me for a year after.
  • Alexis Moves

Lexi's parents are my brother Brad and Jen. They had gotten a divorce about two years after the birth of Lexi. Jen later remarried to a man named Doug. Jen and Doug had a baby boy together, Connor. Lexi lives with her mom. Jen decided that for the better of their little family that moving to Wisconsin would be best. And so they did. I was absolutely devastated. Them moving means that I wont get to see Lexi anymore. After she moved I learned to cherish my nieces and nephews more.
  • Nana's Death

In the beginning of Sophomore year, a very important person had left us. There is a very close person to our family, his name is Tim. Tim is someone that has been there for the family for about 10 years now. He loves his parents very much and still lives with them to make sure that they are always okay. In September of 2016, his mother died. Nana was an amazing human who loved everyone and was loved by everyone. Her death left a huge impact on those around her.
