When I moved to America, to start high school, they wanted to check my english literacy, which I passed and I was placed in an English L1 class. I applied to a program connecting high school students with yale lab internships, and after getting accepted the program's admission officer applauded my "exceptional essay writing abilties." My Pi (Principle Investigator) and other colleagues at my lab were also astonished with my writing and penmanship.
