when mahloon was four
around 2007 my stepmom took hands of me cause i got taken from my mom. she got me a couple books. one i could remember was some book about Elmo. all i could remember was saying " ELMO'S WORLD" -
started school around when i was five or six
i remember when i was in kindergarten and remember reading the alphabet and saying different animal names. when the class got to the letter m, i screamed out " MAHLON!!!!" then everyone else started copying me. -
completed my reading test
this is when i was kindergarten. our class had a 5 question test. i remember that i got all my questions done and turned it in. and got a 100 percent and got so happy. -
passed kindergarten
i passed kindergarten because i was a good reader. so reading and learning the abc's and numbers really helped me. because when i was a kid my mom didn't teach me anything because she was always at party's. so my stepmom got me when school was about to start. so i didn't really know nothing -
first day of 1st grade
finally first grade came!!! this involves with literature because i was going around the school looking for my class. and i read my paper and it said mrs.mcclain. she is one of my favorite teachers that i've ever had. -
when i had a very bad accident
when i was in first grade i had this awful accident. we were reading this book as a class and i had this feeling in my back area. so i figured i had to poop. so i was like "mrs-" then it came out then i had pooped my pants. -
when i read my goals for the year
close to Christmas break everyone in our class had to write about our goals for the upcoming year. and i read all mine off. i just remember that one of my goals was to see my mom again, even after what she did to me. -
my first time back to ohio
i remember the first time going back to ohio to see my family. on the drive there i would always read the signs of the places we were at. -
project for 5th grade
so in 5th grade we did this project where we had to write and present our project about someone famous. and i did mine over stephen hawking. other kids in lower grades would come up to me and ask me questions about who i was and i'd read to them about who i was. -
the story about my mom
this is probably the most important one on this timeline. just because in 7th grade i wrote a 4 page long story about how i lost my mom because her boyfriend at the time was abusive to me. he'd always lock me in rooms and and would hit me. the worse thing was the time where i left my mom. he got a curling iron and burnt me on my side, my elbows, and my forearm. and if i didn't get with my dad and my step mom i could've died cause of the infection.
