Mahatma came to britain in 1888 to study law. soon after his arrival he read his first bible and was very interested in the quote "Resist not evil." -

He returned to India to work as a lawyer. He was unsecccsessful because he was too shy. -

Mahatma was not very sucessful in Bombay so he moved to Natal, South Africa. He was the first "colored" lawyer admitted into the supreame court. -
Natal Indian Congress
In 1894 Mahatma founded the Natal Indian Congress. He created this congress to agitate for Indian rights. He saw how the Indians were being treated while they were laborers in South Africa. Yet he still remained loyal to the british empire. -
Mahatma's peacefull revolution
In 1906 Mahatma started his peacfull revolution. Mahatma stated that he would be im-prisoned or even die before odeying an Anti-Asian law. Thousands of Indians joined his in this act of civil dis-obedeance. During this act Mahatma was im-prisoned twice. -

Mahatma Gandhi died on January 30, 1948. He was assassinated by a religious fanatic.
