My First Collegiate Service Opportunity
I particpate in my first St. Baldrick's, to help cure cancer in children. This was my first justice encounter at Loyola. This was my first chance to apply LUC's and the Jesuits ideal of the greater glory of God. It allowed to me to spread the faith by doing something for others, to spread love through the work of bringing help to those in need, to those less fortuante, Justice. Justice in the eyes of the Jesuits is something that everyone is entitled to. -
First Class
This class and my position has started to prepare to me lead with an empatjhy of people of all walks of life. Being treasurer has taught me to be empathic of different economic backgrounds when assigning dues. -
Elected Treasurer
I am elected the Eminent Treasuerer of Sigma Alpha Epsilon this allows me to begin to oversee and control our cash flow. At first glance this doesn't allow me help provide justice, however I make it a mission to see more funds go to organizing events to help disenfranchised groups. -
Magis and Me
LUC's promotion of the concept of Magis, or loosely, doing more has taught me that to do more I need to lead others to join me on my quest. I need to let myself rise above pettiness as a leader and ahve a clear vision for justice and how to acheive and how to persuade others to my cause
