1.1 Entering Adolescence
I entered adolescence at twelve and half years old. My voice started to crack and my Adam's Apple grew rapidly. I also started developing pubic, armpit, and thicker leg hair at this age. I also noticed that I thought about and viewed the world differently than before, I started to become much more attracted to the opposite sex. I was also in the process of figuring out my identity as a Deaf person. I also got my first phone and was excepted to do even more chores and take care of myself. -
1.2 Emerging Adulthood.
I feel as if I truly started my adulthood in 2016 After almost a year of not being in Gallaudet and I also started working at Walden School in Massachusetts. I felt less immature after not being in school for an year and getting by with minimal money. I also felt as if my sex drive started to taper off a bit now that I'm not as hormonal as when I was a teenager. I lived on my own in Oregon, Maryland, and Massachusetts prior to moving back to DC, and that was a sobering experience for me.
