My family and I went to Vietnam for the second time in visit my paternal father, my grandpa who had just had a stroke. My mom was also 7 months pregnant with my younger sister, Michelle, at the time. My parents said I loved my grandpa the most and I was very emotional when I saw him motionless.

When Michelle Thaomi Tran was born, she gave me a new feeling. I was now a big sister to a little girl and I had a new job in life. To protect my younger sister and to care for her.

i was the first child in my family to graduate high school and it is an accomplishment because senior year is really hard with all my college classes. My parents could be really proud of me since they only got up to middle school.

It has always been my dream to be a pharmacist. And by graduating from pharmacy school, I feel very accomplished and feel at ease for making my dream come true.
