My first word was dada.

To increase my vocabulary my mom used flash cards with the word and picture on it. It was simple things like apple, garden, and etc. We played matching games and I had to say the word. Ex: a picture of a banana, I had to say banana.

My parents were the type to act then talk about both of our actions later. When I did something bad, I would get a whopping then later on my parents would talk to me about why they whopped me and try and figure out why I did what I did. My parents were emotion coaching.

I was 5 years old, and my family took a trip to Gatlinberg, Tennessee. We went to the taffy shop, and I watched them make taffy from the window.

I experienced loss in the fifth grade when I was about 10. My grandmother died and to this day I still don't know why. I feel like my development was compromised because I was constantly trying to figure out why. That really took a toll on me. I remember that I became very closed off because I didn't know how to cope.

I hit puberty early. I had positive peer relationships, but I experienced low self esteem.

Agreeing. All of these terms would be when you're talking to your friends or when you want to give someone a compliment. -
I had a decline in my sight in first grade. I also noticed a decline in my senses towards my senior year of high school. This was because my sinuses started "deteriorating" because of my new found allergies.

Attachment to primary caregiver
Throughout all of my developmental periods, I have always been securely attached to my mom. My attachment to my mom affected my development positively. I have always been able to go and do things without my mom, and not experience separation anxiety.
