  • My 20's

    My 20's
    My focus for healthy eating will be limiting fast food and increasing my fruits/veggie intake. I'll be in college, meaning there's times when I'll want a fat burger. I'll push myself to eat fruit salad and organic vegetables. My focus for physical activity will be exercise regularly, as a part of a team sport ensuring I get out of the dorms, keeping my body Active and healthy. My focus for preventative health care will be to practice general good hygiene, important for busy college students
  • My 30's

    My 30's
    My focus for healthy eating will be to make sure I consume all my important vitamins. Such as B-vitamins, vitamin D, and omega-3. My focus for physical activity will be 30-60 minutes of aerobic weight bearing exercise like dancing, swimming or playing tennis. Maybe at a local rec center. My focus for preventative health care will be to reduce stress and get enough sleep. As an adult I'll have many duties and may even start a family. Staying healthy is important when I have all this to keep up.

    My 40's
    My focus for healthy eating will be to manage what I eat, getting a balanced healthy diet. There are many problems that may come with my 40's so it's important I keep myself healthy. My focus for physical activity will be to make sure I get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity which may help with stress. My focus for preventative health care will be to get regular doctor visits and exams such as : blood pressure, cholesterol, and eye exams.
  • My 50's

    My 50's
    My focus on healthy eating will be to get a good nutrition, having a low sodium diet, with low fat foods. Possibly taking nutritional supplements. My focus on physical activity will be making sure a get plenty of aerobic exercise to keep my heart strong and my joints loose. My focus for preventative health care will be a healthy amount of sleep, practicing yoga, visiting the doctor regularly, and getting necessary immunizations.
  • My 60's

    My 60's
    My focus for eating healthy will be to be very specific on how much I eat of certain foods, I should get 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables and 3 servings grains and dairy. My focus for physical activity will be to get light weight training and resistance training. Activities such as swimming, walking running are also very important. My focus for preventative health care will be to get plenty of regular exams for blood pressure, eye, and skin health. I will also get my yearly shots.
