I decided to attend Heartland for my first two years of schooling. I didn't quite know what I wanted to do with my life so I decided to get my general education courses out of the way first. This impacted me greatly because none of my classmates from high school attended Heartland so I had to adjust to losing my friends and not knowing anyone.

The day my sister Taylor got married was a big one for me and my family. The first sibling to get married, and I got to be the maid of honor. This responsibility was a big one, I had to organize and get my speech ready to be given on the big day! I was honored to be apart of such a great day, and now I have a brother-in-law!

Throughout high school I was in a relationship with the same person for almost 6 years. Spending all that time with one person really made me a more committed person and taught me also how to trust someone and love. After a few years after high school we grew apart unfortunately and things didn't work out. But this relationship taught me a lot about myself and what I want out of a relationship.
