I finally move on and began attending Lincoln's Inn, I determined to become a monk and give myself up to the discipline of the Carthusians, living in a close by monastery and taking part of the monastic life. I greatly enjoyed the prayer, fasting, and penance habits that stayed with me for the rest of my life.
