    The famous French leader Napoleon was born in corsica , August 15, 1769. He was part of a Italian nobel family that included 8 siblings and belonged to the Second Estate. The time period in which he was born Corsica was controlled by the French.

    When Napoleon was little he entered the military academy and graduates, 1777. In the military academy Napoleon was promoted because of his hard work in the Roy military Academy.Napoleon was one of the best soldiers and he was later named captain.

    The invasion of Russia is considered one of Napoleon’s worst mistakes he ever made. The invasion was later called the Patriotic War of 1812 that took place in June 24 in the Neman river. The fight was a disaster because the Russians refused to work with Napoleon’s army so the French army decided to go into Russian interior and they did not had enough supplies nor the distribution networks.

    On September 7, 1812 Napoleon’s Russian campaign finally took place in the battle of borodino. After some time of fighting the Russians let Napoleon advance to Moscow and seven days later the city was in flames and Alexander instead of letting the French dominate the city of Moscow he decided to destroy it. After that Napoleon stayed in the destroyed city of Moscow until mid October when he decided to go back to France.

    In June 18 1815 Napoleon attacked the british but the British and the Prussian decided to fight back against France. The defeat finished Napoleon’s last piece of power and they send him to St. Helena. Napoleon died in 1821 of a stomach ailment.
