    When it All Started
I was born in India a couple of years ago. That time I was the only child and my parents thought of me as the miracle of life. I wasn't the brightest kid, infact I was pretty naughty. I used to always cry and never leave my parents alone.

    Took my Frst Steps
When I was a few months old, I knew that when I took my first steps I was at home and my parents were helping me get up on my feet going step by step. Ater a few practices, I tried it for myself. The first few times, I fell until I finally got it. I was walking! My parents were so proud!
  • Chaitali?!

    Chaitali?!
When I was about 1 years old, I spoke my first word which was Chaitali. Most babys say mom or dad but I said my mom's first name (Chaitali). Where I lived, everybody adressed her as her real name so I became in that habbit as well. It wasn't until I heard my friends call their mom "mom". Which was maybe a few months later.
  • A New Year

    A New Year
On my first birthday, my parents threw me a huge party, yet I didn't guiet enjoy it. The whole time I was crying on my mom's lap so she didn't get to have much fun as well. All of my family friends and reatives were there. Later many people gathered around to cut the birthday cake. After we did, my older cousin spead icing on my face. That's when I lost it. I went to my dad and didn't do anything at the party... except taking pictures with other families while I had half the cake on my face.
  • A Fresh Start

    A Fresh Start
The time when I was only three years old; I had to leave my home country (India) and settle somewhere elese. That turned out to be Canada. I never wanted to leave all my friends and reatives. I wanted to stay in India for until I am ready to let go. But that didn't work out, I had to go anyway. I wasn't looking forward to it. What if something goes wrong? Hopefully things will be better than thought it would be there.
  • My First Day

    My First Day
I went to school a couple months later than people usually do because the school where I was going to had a policy that the children must be 4 years or older. When I first found out that I was going to school, I was so excited. I've never seen school before and I didn't know what a teacher was (later I found out). I always thought that teacher's live inside the school but I changed my perspective in grade 1
  • A Miracle

    A Miracle
When I was five, my mom was at a local hospital in Toronto holding her baby. She had been there for about a month. Every week my dad and I used to go and visit her. I was hoping that the baby would be a girl but instead, it turned out to be a boy. The most interesting thing that happened on the wonderful day was that my little brother was born on this special Indian celebration meant for all brothers and sisters. Due to this amazing day, my parents named my little brother after our god...Shivam!
  • All Grown Up

    All Grown Up
When I was six years old, I finally went back to India to visit all my friends and relatives. I went to go visit for 2 months. One of those days, I went to the theater with my family. During the movie I lost my very first tooth. I was so happy. It finally made me feel like a big girl. That time I was so happy and jumping, I dropped my tooth at the theatre and never found it since then.
  • Final Moments

    Final Moments
When I was in grade 5, the last month was really hard for me. After I graduate I was moving to Mississauga. I wanted to make my last year count. To do that I asked my teacher to throw a huge graduation party to celebrate our last day. Every student brought a yummy home cooked/store bought meal for every graduate to enjoy. It was amazing. I had lots of fun and that made me really happy. Until this day I haven't forgot my friends and they haven't forgot me. Nothing can come between us.
  • A Surprising Year

    A Surprising Year
On my 12th birthday, my parents were throwing me a surprise party. That morning they told me to wear the party dress I got a week before so we could go to the Temple. I thought we were just going to go pray, but Instead we were driving to Niagra Falls! I never knew that. When we reached there, I was given the surprise of my life. We were at Niagra Falls and had a 2 day 1 night trip. We were staying at a hotel called Embassy Suite. It was the best birthday of my life and I would never forget it.
  • Magic Show

    Magic Show
At Niagra Falls on my 12th birthday we went to go see a magic show. Greg Frewin was amazing at the magic show. The part that I enjoyed the most was when he made a sleeping girl float up in the air and go through her. I even have an autographed picture of my family and I caged with one of his tigers. If it wasn't for my family I would never have such an amazing birthday party.
