Birth of Alexis Ferguson
September 30th 1998 A beautiful baby girl was born.
This made my parents so happy.
This was also my 1st Christmas December 25, 1998. -
Entering my Grade School Years
September 2001 was an emotional time for my parents.
I entered into my first experience of going to school.
Now from what I was told I did a good job and was okay, but my mom on the other hand had to fight back the tears. She was a little nervous because I was still only 3 yrs old until the end of the month. -
Crowned Miss Harriett Tubman
My mother raised me in the church and I was very much involved in the Church activities. Every Year in May we would go to the Harriet Tubman home, I was entered as a contestant in the King and Queen contest and our church won and I was crowned Miss Harriet Tubman in May of 2006. -
My first vacation out of state
In June 2008 my brother was graduating from High School. He lived with his father in Akron Ohio. I wanted to go to his graduation and my mother and I took a trip to go see him graduate. It was an exciting trip for me because I had never been out of my home state of New York. We stayed with friends of my moms for a week. It was a wonderful trip and my mom was happy to see Joshua graduate. -
8th Grade Graduation
This was an extraordinary day for me as I embarked on my last day of Junior High School. Graduation day was finally here. It was a day of mixed emotions because I made so many friends and now some of us were going separate ways. My mom and dad along with my brothers and my neighbor came to my graduation. -
Cousins Wedding in Surprise Arizona
My mother received an invitation to go to her niece's wedding in Arizona. This was my 1st year of High School, however after many discussions with teachers we decided to go as long as I took my homework. The teachers thought it would be a great experience since I had not met my moms side of the family. I was so looking forward to this wedding as it was a Halloween wedding and the theme was the Adams Family. Every one had to dress up and I ended up being in the wedding. -
My move to Surprise Arizona
It had been a year since we had visited Arizona and I decided I wanted to move there. I spoke to my mother and she made some phone calls. I was so excited when she told me we would be moving. We are now on our way to our new city and state. -
Sea World San Diego
It was my first Christmas in Arizona and the family decided to go to Sea World for Christmas. We had so much fun. One day I would like to return there to visit. -
Trip to Disneyland
Since moving to Arizona I have discovered that my cousin absolutely loves Halloween. We went to Disneyland for Halloween and came home with so much candy. The best part was seeing the excitement on peoples faces and checking out their costumes. I Love my family and the time we spent together. -
Graduation of High School
I realize this has not happened yet but I am looking forward to graduation. I know that my parents will be so proud. I will feel proud and accomplished,
