Birth
When I was born I was unaware of the life that I would have. I was born to parents who could not support me so they put me up for adoption. When I was born I was a fairly healthy baby. -
Baptism
When I turned 8 years old I was baptized and confirmed a member of the church of Jesus Christ of later day saints. It was a very spiritual experience. My brother-in-law came from Oklahoma to baptize me. -
Adoption
I was adopted in 2011 by a wonderful mother. She has given me many opportunities that I would not have had if she hadn't taken me in. I am glad she was the one who adopted me as opposed to anyone else. -
Hawaii
The summer before my freshman year I went to Hawaii with my family. We were gone for a whole week and got to experience the different cultures. We got to do many fun things. I went snorkeling and got to see sea turtles. -
High School
When I started high school I went to a brick and mortar school. I was in a charter school and had some great teachers. I had to wear uniforms everyday. -
Cultural Celebration
On March 1 of 2014 I participated in a big celebration for the opening of the gilbert temple. We danced and sang and had the time of our lives. It was poring rain the whole time it was very cold and muddy. -
Granma Passed Away
In January of 2015 my grandma passed away. It was really hard on my family but I felt it was especially hard on me. I loved my grandma a lot and always spent time with her when we went to visit her. I was the closest to her out of all of my siblings. I started to get in to trouble after she passed away because it was so hard for me to cope with. -
Online School
I started online school during sophomore year. I love doing online school because it allows me to see what it is like without my mom always telling me what homework to do. I feel it is better preparing me for collage. -
Sweet 16
I spent the whole month of August this year in Idaho with my aunts and uncles. I got to celebrate my sweet 16 there and we went boating. I went on my first date there too. -
Music
Music has always been part of my life. I write my own songs and love to preform them. I play piano and have been playing for 6 years.
