Lost in Cali
I got lost in San Diego, California when I was 8 years old. My family and I were on vacation and I got separated from them at the beach for over 5 hours. I chose this event because it was terrifying for both my family and I. Getting lost at such a young age influenced me to be as safe and as careful as I possibly can in any situation, so in a way this experience was helpful to me in the long run. -
Parents divorce
My parents divorced when I was 12 years old. This life experience changed my life in multiple ways, so many changes happened because of it. When my parents decided to get a divorce it basically flipped my life upside down. It changed my oldest brothers behavior significantly as well as my other siblings and myself. -
Meeting Jaime
Meeting my boyfriend Jaime has influenced my life in so many ways I don't even know where to begin. Jaime is so important to me and he has helped me and been there for me through so much and I can't even begin to describe how much I appreciate that. I have made so many necessary changes to my life because of him and I am so grateful to have him in my life. -
Brothers suicide
My brother killed himself when he was 17 years old, I was 13. Loosing my brother was the absolute worst experience I have ever had to deal with. It changed my entire outlook on life and it changed the way I live my life. I became careless and depressed. This is something I am still dealing with today. -
Moving to Arizona
Soon after my brothers death my mom and my other siblings and I decided to move to Arizona to be closer to family. This experience was life changing I lived in New York and had to give up everything I am familiar with and love. However I am grateful because I have met so many wonderful people in Arizona I have done so many great things here. -
Trip to Vegas with Hydia
I recently went on one of the best trips I have ever been on with my best friend Hydia. We went to Las Vegas, Nevada and did so many cool things. We went to one of our favorite bands concerts and got to meet them. We stayed in a beautiful hotel on the strip and we also got to meet a lot of new really cool people. On the way home we went on a tour of The Hoover Dam and it was so fun. This was by far one of the best experiences I have had and I am so thankful for it. -
Changing for the better
The highest point in my life was when I decided to change for the better. I used to hangout with the wrong crowd I was always getting into trouble in school and I even got into legal trouble twice. I was really rude and disrespectful I didn't really care how anybody or what anybody thought about me. I used to lie, steel and so many more horrible things. Getting back on track
Starting Primavera has been so great because I can finally get caught up and graduate. Traditional schools never worked me. My mom and I would fight literally every single morning because I wouldn't want to get up and go to school. I got truancy tickets quite frequently and even had to go to court a few times because I never went to school. My mom had to pay a bunch of fines and I had to do community service and a book report. Saving Hemo
I rescued an Akita puppy from a shelter and I love him so much! I chose to include this event because I love this dog so much and he always makes me smile and hes a good cuddle buddy when I'm sad. He was 6 weeks old when I rescued him and I named him Hemo which is supposed to mean pimp in Japanese. I love him and I am so happy I made the decision to save him. -
First Job
I got my first job at Sprouts and I love it! Getting a job has gave me so much independence because my family doesn't have a lot of money so I can't always get everything I want. Having my own money is so helpful because I can buy my own things that I want and even help my mom pay for some stuff which I love! Its also not a completely boring and dull job so that's a plus.
