    Date of Birth
    On October 9th, 2002 i was brought into this world. This date is the very beginning of my entire life journey. I was born into a family that consists of my mother Diane, father Bill, and two older sister Chelsea and Jillian. I was now a daughter and a sister!
  • Getting a Puppy

    Getting a Puppy
    An addition was made to my family. In 2006 when i was 4, my parents brought home our new puppy Tucker. Tucker is a Bichon Frise. When i got my dog, i had a new role. I had a role that meant i am now a care-giver for my dog and needed to take care of him as he was a new addition to the family. I needed to make sure he got fed, brought on walks, trained, etc.
  • Joining a Competitive Dance Team

    Joining a Competitive Dance Team
    I started dancing in 2005 but my competitive dance career began in 2009. I was always super passionate about dance but once starting competitive, i knew it was something that i was going to continue doing for as long as possible.
  • Starting the French Immersion Program

    Starting the French Immersion Program
    Starting the french immersion program meant that i was going to be beginning the year at a new school and making new friends. It is an extremely important part of my life because i met some of my best friends through the french immersion program. I was now a student at a new school.
  • Donating Hair

    In June of 2015, i decided to donate my hair for the first time. This was a huge moment in my life because it felt very surreal to know i was helping others. It was always something that i wished of doing and once i finally got the chance to do it, it motivated me to do it another time.
  • Grade 8 Graduation

    Grade 8 Graduation
    Grade 8 graduation was a very special moment for me because, it meant that i successfully completed all of elementary school. I graduated with honours along with the volunteer award. This meant time for a much larger student role, involving a lot of studying, etc.
  • Beginning of High School

    Beginning of High School
    Starting high school and grade 9 is a very important part of growing up because it is a transition to a new chapter of life. This meant that i was going to begin many new experiences, as the culture and responsibility associated with high school is far different than elementary school. This new chapter in my life was the start of a new social role. I had the role to keep up with my school work and gain an education (held at a higher standard than elementary school) as a secondary student.
  • First Job

    First Job
    Getting my first job meant that i was taking charge of my social role and making my own money, working hard to provide for myself. The summer of 2018 i began my first "real" job, giving me a new social role as an employee. I gained a social role from working full time as a camp counsellor needing me to manage my time and money.
  • Fully Licensed

    Fully Licensed
    Becoming fully licensed is a huge accomplishment in life. Getting your license means that you receive a sense of freedom, by following a social norm of becoming a driver. This is an example of me following a social norm, as it is seen as normal to get your drivers license as soon as possible.
  • Start of Grade 12

    Start of Grade 12
    Grade 12 is a very important time in my life because it is my last year of high school. It is the end of a period in life, meaning that a new chapter is soon to begin. I am soon to be choosing universities and programs, planning my future.
  • Future: Graduate University

    Future: Graduate University
    This point in time will be the end of my role as a student, transitioning into the role of an employee.
  • Future: Marriage/Family

    Future: Marriage/Family
    I will follow the norm of getting married and starting a family, obtaining a role as a spouse and parent.
