    Seeing my great grandmother was a time of revealing that I was unique for me because I never thought that I could do that. This connects to Laurence because he tries doing the things that his dad and Eddy are doing because he could of just not been trying, people do, do that.

  • Hardship/tragedy

    When my biological mother passed away was a time of hardship for me because I was only four years old and I didn't really know what in the world was happening I used to think she was sleeping beauty and when I was old enough to know what was really happening I was really depressed and I wished that she was sleeping beauty so daddy can kiss her awake. This connects to Laurence because his hardship was that he has asthma.

  • We moved to Creedmoor, North Carolina.

  • Went to Creedmoor Elementary School

  • Got into the art contest at Creedmoor Elementary

  • First day of 3rd Grade.

  • I went to Wilton Elementary.

  • I had straight A's for the last quarter of 4th grade.

  • Searching for true self

    This was a time when I was trying to search for my true self. I wanted to know how to cook and what I wanted to do was see if I like it enough to get a job for cooking when I'm older but that didn't work out, I just like cooking for fun. This connects to Laurence because he tries to be like his dad and kill rats but that did not go planed.

  • Revealed that I was unquie

    Getting baptised was a time of revealing that I was unique for me because it was the first time for me and I was happy. This connects to Laurence because he likes to read comic books and it makes him happy.

  • I learned to ride my bike:) and turned TWO digits!!!:)

    (this was a HUGE deal for me, I was SSOOOOO excited)!:)

  • Denied my true self

    This was a time where I denied my true self. I was getting homeschooled by my Mommy and I wanted to be homeschooled but also I didn't. I wanted to be homeschooled because of the mean kids at school but also I didn't because of my friends and I just liked it there. This connects to Laurence because in the story he thought that he wasn't good enough, he said that he was lousy at sports and he also said that he wished he could have been Eddy.

  • Hardship/tragedy

    Almost failing the 5th grade was a hard time for me because this was when I was homeschooled and my family was just so busy so I didn't really take my time on my work. This connects to Laurence because he couldn't play sports because of his asthma.

  • over the summer I accepted Jesus at Crowders Ridge.

    "wanting" to take certain classes or do different things was a time I denied my true self because of what other people were saying and doing. This connects to Laurence because he tries to be like his dad and Eddy instead of being himself.

    Trying out for cheerleading was the time of searching for my true self for me because I wanted to see what sports I can play that I'm good at. This connects to Laurence because he was trying to play basketball with his dad and Eddy but his lungs failed him.

    trying out for soccer was a time of searching for my true self because I wanted to see if I'm good at another sport. This connects to Laurence because he just was trying to fit in he wanted to see if he could find a true him.

  • Over the summer I accepted Jesus at Crowders Ridge again.

  • Started taking lunch for the first time EVER!!!

    Which is a HUGE deal to me because I've always wanted to take lunch.
