Labor Stages

  • After Birth

    Hours of being in labor, your baby has finally come into the world. Right after being delivered your baby goes for testing to check if it's okay and healthy. You need rest after a long painful day. Also, ned to spend time with your baby on a one to one connection
  • Early Labor

    The cervix opens up to 4 centimeters. During this time you need to be getting lots of rest and drink clear fluids. Also, you will start to feel contractions to put you in labor.
  • Active Labor

    During this time the cervix has opened up to 7 centimeters. You should be head to the hospital. Your contractions are starting to get stronger and your water will break at some point in this time frame
  • Full on Labor

    At this moment your pushing your baby out! You are dilated enough and your baby is ready to come into the world. The pain right now is terrible so you might take an epidural. The baby moves from the birth canal and that is where you feel the pressure.
