Katelyn's Life Passion

  • Born

    Born
On this day, in the adventurous city of Salem, I was born into this world of fascination and attraction. Let's hope that Mom catches on to my soon-to-be passion! I've been told that I was a "beautiful bouncing baby".
  • Broken

    Broken
On this cloudless, and pleasant day of Easter, instead of seeking for those invisible eggs, I'd decided to tumble across the yard. This cheerfulness quickly turned into an atrocious one. I had broke my left arm, (weeks later I broke my right arm as well).
  • First Day

    First Day
This was when my mother had put me into gymnastics lessons, which she thought would take care of all that pesky extra energy I had. She was wrong. Those lessons soon became my passion! I had grown an obsession for the stage. I loved the way an audiences face illuminated whenever I landed a back flip tight before their widened eyes. Bigger and Better

I continued to do cheer.

This was my highest point of my cheer career. I had won the National Championships title, (did I say "I", whoops, I meant my team and I)! This means that every cheer team in the U.S was competing against us. It was nerve wrecking. Although the nervousness, out of every team competing, we had won!
  • Bye Bye Oregon

    Bye Bye Oregon
Now, this point in my life was thought to be the death of my All Star Cheer career. I was on the road, moving, to Arizona. I had googled earlier, of course, for All Star Cheer teams that I could join. Sadly, none appeared on my screen. Devastated didn't even begin to cover how I felt.
  • Today

    Today
A few weeks into my cheer coma, I decided to take a drive about my new town. As I got further into the city, I discovered a few gymnastics gyms, (if you remember from before, I prefer cheer over gymnastics). I though participating in that would be better than nothing at all, so I decided to go and check it out. What did I discover? A miracle! My local gymnastics gym was sponsoring a new cheer team! The funny thing is, they started their own cheer team just a few days after I moved! What a coinc
