After being started by a 9.1 underwater earthquake, the 2004 tsunami devastated southeast Asia. It became the world's deadliest tsunami, killing a whopping 225,000 people. It mostly affected the countries of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, and Thailand. In some areas, the waves were more than 30 feet high! Sad and scared, during the summer of 2009, I had to move to Asheville, NC. I had moved from Savannah, GA. I had lived there all I could remember.Asheville was very different.It wasn't warm at all.Afew weeks had passed, and my parents were crazy about this place. I was still homesick.A few months later I grew to like this place.sledding down snowy hills sounded fun!I knew I would never replace what I found in Ashville.I thought I would never like Ashville, but that was only in the summer of 2009. -
Moving#2
I was nervous, but when I moved to Macon, GA, in the spring of 2011, my family and I loved it. I loved Asheville, but I knew moving to a placewith lots of family would be very good. I was nervous because it was a huge neighborhood! I made alot of friends there, and I loved rinding my bike around the wholr place. There were a whole lot of people in my Sunday school class, and since I was homeschooled, I got to see them alot! I will always remember my friend-filled life place in 2011. -

My Very Best Friend
During the autumn of 2012, in Springdale Elem., my friend, Alysia introduced me to Jocelyn Tang. Alysia's best friend was Jocelyn. Jocelyn thoght I'd annoy her, since I was right next to her in science, but she grew to enjoy my craziness. One day was extremely cold at recess, so all the girls huddled up together. Since all we could do was talk, we knew alot more about each other. Now that I have moved we write letters to each other. I will never forget inthe fall of 2012, when I met Jocelyn T. -
Olympics In Sochi, Russia
People from all over the world gathered in the city of Sochi, Russia for the Winter Olympics in February, 2014. This was one of the most costliest Olympic games ever. For instance, one of the rings of the logo was not lighting up, so they had to pay for that. Vladmere Putin was in charge, seeing that he was the president of the Soviet Union. The whole cost was 51billion dollars. I guess that Sochi set 2 records because theyhad over 2,800 athletes participate from 88 different nations! WOW! -
Braces
In May 2014, I had crooked teeth,and the only solution was braces. My teeth had been whacked up, and needed braces. I fist had to get 4 teeth pulled!They numbed all of it, but I couldn't eat real food for 4 days.When the gaps weren't vulnerable, they put my braces on.They first cleaned my teeth, then they put glue on them.After the metal brackets were put on, I picked 2 cute colors:teal and pink!I loved the way they looked;they felt funny,too!I think braces were the best solution for me in 2014. -
Broken Finger
During the summer of 2014,my mom,dad,brother,sister and friends were home to watch my finger get broken.My brother and I were messing around that night.I followed him to the frame of the bath door."Crush!" I only took one glance and saw water bubbling out of my finger!When my mom and dad saw,they called Debbie (a nurse), and I finally got to the ER. They numbed it,cleaned it, and wrapped it. I felt terrible that night in the summer of 2014;I never wanted all those people to see my broken finger.
