I was born on Maracaibo Venezuela.
-
This is actually a very random memory, i think i was like 3 or 4 years old. All I remember is that we had a red car that was pretty ugly, but i still liked it. And a guy took it. And while the guy was just driving away with the car i remember asking my dad, "why is he taking our car?" And my dad said, "Because we sold it to him" So then i just started crying. And that's as far as I can remember. It's a very random memory.

When I was around 5-8, my mom caught a disease that almost killed her, i don't really remember what it was, but according to what my dad told me most of her organs shutdown, her veins started to get clogged, and she couldn't breath at all, so they had to put a machine through her throat to help her breath. But then after 2 month or so of being in the edge of death, she made a total recovery, and a few months after she had my younger sister.
-
After I was born we were still living in my grandma's house (My dad's mom.) But after a few years of living there my dad finally got the opportunity to buy a house, so he did.
-
Another random memory. I remember that on one weekend all my family was on our grandma's house. We were on the backyard, then my grandpa took out a cake and we all started singing happy birthday. I thought it was my cousin's birthday, and I was waiting for my family to stop singing, so i could push my cousin's head into the cake. But just when they stopped singing, my cousin, my dad, and my uncle pushed MY head into the cake, and that's when i realized it wasn't my cousin's birthday, but mine.

After what happened to my mom, my younger sister was born on 2010/8/20. Little did I know how annoying she will become.
-
Just after a the day my sister was born, my mom started to get really sick, we didn't know why, she got really bad, not as bad as the first time, but she still got pretty bad, but after 1 or 2 weeks of being like that, she just recovered and when back to normal.
-
Around 2010-1014 the president of Venezuela, (Hugo Chavez) was diagnose with cancer, (I don't remember exactly what type of cancer it was) And when he finally died, the vice president became president. But the new president was so bad that he destroyed the economy and everything on my home country.

My parent when to Caracas, so me and my sister had to stay at our grandpa's house for a few weeks. And what were they doing in Caracas you may ask? Well they were trying to get a Visa. And well, they got it!
-
After we got the Visa, my dad paid off the house, and sold he's pickup truck to get tickets for a fly to Miami. Then From Miami he got bought another ticket for a fly to Utah, from where our cousin resived him.
-
When i first came here i didn't know any English, and since we didn't had any money at all we had to stay at my cousin's house for sometime while my mom and dad searched for a job.
-
I had to start Elementary with no knowledge of the English language whatsoever. But I got placed on a special class to learn English and I learned it fairly quickly.
-
After a few weeks my mom and dad found a job and started gaining some money to buy a car and rent a apartment. So we moved to a new place that was not that far away from where we were living before so i didnt had to change schools.
-
After Elementary ended I started Middle school. But this time I already knew a lot of English so it went way more smoothly than in Elementary.

One day my mom gave me a letter that she got from the mail, saying that it had my name on it, so I opened it and started reading it, after I finish I told her what it said. I just remember being super honored on being invited into such a demanding school, and still to this day I can't believe that I got invited into the school, so I'm pretty honored and great full for being able to be in such a amazing school with so many lovely and caring teachers.
