    The day I was born

    Hi! HI!
  • Moving to Canada November 2014

    Moving to Canada November 2014
When I came to Canada on November 12, 2014. The weather was so cold and I was only wearing shorts because back in my country it was so hot. I didn't know that it was so cold at Canada and regret wearing shorts at that time. The day after I came on Canada we went at Markville mall and had dinner at The Keg and ate steak for dinner. I started elementary school on November 24,2014 at Central park public school. I started my first year of high school on August 31, 2015 at Markville Secondary School.
  • Big changes: Meeting friends

    Big changes: Meeting friends
When I first came to Canada. I went at Central Park Public School a.k.a CPPS. My first day at school I was surrounded by students and asking me questions of where I came from and what are my hobbies. The first week was tough for me because I don't know much English back then. The next 2 weeks I made new friends and they are so nice to me even though I don't talk much English. I did not expect of me to have friends in the first month but I did and they were all kind and cool with me.
  • Big changes: Part 2

Big changes on my life is when I met my very good best friends back in the Philippines. Moving to Canada and moving away with my best friends was a big change for me. It was tough not seeing them on person and to talk in person with them. We only communicate now using Facebook. We sometimes do a group video at skype. I was sad for 3 whole months withour my friends but I made new friends and was not sad. I want to meet them and go home one day so we could hang out once again all together.
  • To be on the Basketball team on High School

To be on the Basketball team on High School
I started playing basketball when I was just 10-11 years old. My second goal is to be on my High school team. I was on my elementary team at grade 8, but I was not good enough. I tried out on the Basketball team last grade 9 and wasn't accepted. There are so many good players than me at basketball this year so I went on a Summer camp for basketball last summer and tried my best to improve. I will try out for this year's basketball team and wish I will be accepted and play with new teammates.
  • Finishing High School

    Finishing High School
My third goal for the future is to finish up my high school year. High School year is the best school year ever. In High School you learn new things and get serious. High school is where you meet your new best friends and your best friends that will be with you forever. High school is also tough and you have to be prepare and finish before going to college/university. I want to finish high school and go to college/university to have job and able to earn money to buy things that matter in life.
  • To be an honour student

    To be an honour student
My first goal in life is to be an honour student. I want to be the top student in my class for the rest of the school year and I will try hard to be one. I want to be an honour student because I want to have good knowledge and education. I want to have good job's after school years and have a good reputation. Also I want to be an honour student because I want my family to be proud of me and be happy.
  • Small Changes #1

Small changes in my life is when I graduated elementary school in Philippines and Canada. In Philippines elementary is grade 1 to 6. In Canada it's gr. 1-8. So I graduated elementary two times and I feel a lot better that i got through all the tough work in elementary and learning English here in Canada. Now I am in high school and I am not a kid anymore. I am now a teenager. Being in elementary taught me things like how to respect, draw, spell, speak etc. Elementary is fun.
  • Small changes #2

The second changes in my life is moving on from elementary to high school. When I finished elementary I know high school is gonna be fun, because there, you will make lots and lots of friend than when you are in elementary. I started Highschool in Canada last August 2015 but my 1st highschool year is when I was on gr. 7. In Philippines high school starts gr. 7 to gr. 12. I have met a lot of true friends and enjoyed my High school moments with them and go out for a movie when a new movie comes out
  • Small Changes #3

My third and last small change in my life is thinking before I act. Thinking before you act is important in life, because when you think before you act you might not affect the problem and solve it. not thinking and just doing it might cause a problem because you don't know what you are doing. So I think before I act, so I don't make mistakes in life.
  • Experience #1

My very first big experience is going out with my friends for my 14th birthday. On my 14th birthday. We went on a beach/swimming pool called Poracay. My friends and I celebrated my last birthday in the Philippines together and swam in the swimming pools. We went on swimming rather than going to a restaurant or fancy catering because its hot in the Philippines so we went to the beach/swimming wo freshen up and enjoy my last birthday in the Philppines.
  • Experience #2

My 2nd big experience is my team winning the basketball championship on 2014 in our city league. Somehow we got through the championship and beat our opposing team. It was my first happy experience winning a championship in a long time with my teammates and coach. In the final quarter with 1 minute left. Our score was 35-36,we are winning by one with the free throw the we shot. They have the ball and we stopped the ball to go in the basket and we guarded the players hard so they won't get it in.
  • Learning #1

My first learning is to respect other so they will respect you back. Respecting other doesn't mean you can't be mean to them. It's just you have to respect of what they are and who they are. If you respect them of what they are, they will respect you too and you will have a good reputation. I respect all the people and I don't judge of what I see on the outside. One thing that matter to me is what is inside of them.
  • Learning #2 - Be honest

Being honest is the best policy. In my elementary time. My teacher taught me to be honest and don't lie to others, because if you don't tell the truth, Someday people will never trust you and just ignore you. I wasn't being honest once that I stole some money from my mum to play computer games and I regretted it. She was so stressed and it made her more stressed that her money is missing. So I told her the truth and she wasn't worried anymore and told me don't never lie again because it is bad.
  • Working option #1

My first working option is workin at McDonald's. I want to work at McDonalds because McDonalds burger is good and cheaper than others. When I was a kid we can't afford to buy McDonalds or KFC because my mum doesn't have a proper job yet. Now we are in Canada and she have a proper job than before, we can eat whatever we want and enjoy the food that we eat together. In Philippines McDonalds have rice and chicken together but in Canada the only have burgers and nuggets.
  • Work Option #2

My second working option is at Second Cup. I want to work to second cup because my mum used to work there and creates coffee, shakes, latte etc. What I like in Second Cup is their Frozen Hot Chocolate. It is very good that my mum always brings me one when she gets home, but she doesn't work there anymore making and learning how to make coffee. latte, and shakes is fun for me. I like learning stuff that I can use in everyday life such as how to make very good tasting coffee and shakes to drink.
  • Working option #3

I want to work at Walmart because Walmart has foods, everyday accessories, drinks, Gadgets, etc. Walmart is pretty famous for going for a grocery shopping or back to school shopping, and it is close to my house so I don't have to take any bus or bike. I can just walk there and work as part-time to earn some money to buy things I want.
  • Influences #1

Friends. Friends are there to support you in hard times. My friends influenced me to be more care, to love and to play. MY friends influence me a lot. They influence me to join a club in my school and to do better at school. Friends influence us by what they do and we want do try it so we don't miss out chances in our life. Remember You Only Live Once (Y.O.L.O) . They influence me to take subjects to learn new things in life that I have never done before.
  • Influence #2

My second influence comes from a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player. His name is Marc Pingris. He influenced me to not give up to play basketball even though you are not good at it. He shows me not to give up in life and try harder to become a better player one day. I watch his practices and do that too to get better at basketball and to get into my school's basketball's team. Marc Pingris is a hardworking professional basketball player and has influenced me a lot with his life.
  • Learning #3

I don't trust strangers when I was a kid, because before in the Philippines there are people with a van who are taking kids by treating them for a candy and other sweets. When I was a kid I never trusted strangers because one day you may not know when it is gonna be last time you will see your mum and get taken by some strangers who offered you ice cream. When I grew up I started to realise that some people don't take kids, but they jut want to help them and not really a bad people.
  • Influence #3

We know most of us gets influenced by our parents because they are always teaching you good things to do and bad things not to do. My parents influenced me to not give up on my dream. My parents worked hard to get to Canada and saved money just for me to get better education in Canada. They influence me that if you never give up and work hard. You will never fail in life.
