First Year Together
So today marks the one year anniversary of us being together. Well... to be exact, its the one year anniversary of me knowing you, and the one year nine month anniversary of you knowing me! Still, it's a big deal! Thank you for loving me each year and every year in the future! -
Two day twos
I'm not sure of the official date of this, but seeing as school starts in August and I was two years old, I gave it my best try. You always tell me the story of when I was two years old. You tried to drop me off at two day twos, but I refused. Clearly this is because I loved you way too much to let you leave. You were (and still are) the best mom ever, and I didn't want you to leave! Thank you for never leaving me behind! -
Feeding the Giraffe
Today we went to Lion Country Safari, and we went to see the giraffes. One amazing thing about this was that you were allowed to feed the giraffes! However, after getting up high to where the giraffe's head reached, holding food, I got scared and I didn't want to feed them. You came to me and you helped me feed them, and I was so glad in the end that I had decided to do it. Thank you for getting me to face my fears! -
Share Shabbat
This picture is from a Share Shabbat at the JCC. No, I don't remember exactly what I did there, but I do remeber the most important part of everything. Throughout my experiences at every school (HDS, LHP, Hebrew School) you have always showed up to everything, whether or not it was optional, and whether or not I wanted you there. I will always remember how much dedication you had to me and everything that I did! Thank you for always being so dedicated to me and my education! -
Israel
One of our best family trips ever, but I'm going to zoom into some Mommy and Jaydin time that happened a few hours after walking Ben Y'huda street. After the whole loose tooth chaos, we got to our hotel room and you told me that you needed to pull my tooth out, so I let you. Then, one second later, me still freaking out, you told me that it was out! What a great moment, and hilarious. Maybe not hilarious at the time, but it sure is now! Thank you for helping me in such crazy situations! -
Mothers day
Today was mothers day, but many years ago. Kaylis Reeegan, and I made a spa for you. Reegan gave you a back tickle, Kaylis painted your nails, and I, clearly given the most important position, played with your hair. I remember waiting in the bathroom for my turn with mommy! I remember being excited for my turn to talk to you (I've always had a lot to say) and be with you. I had so much fun. I know you did too! Thank you for always letting me talk to you about literally everything! -
St. Augustine
So...I was pretty disappointed when I had to miss my school trip to St. Augustine, but man did you make up for it! We had so much fun seeing the old cannons and the drawbridges around the city. Also, I loved going to the old store with all the candies and foods. Remember when the people in St. Augustine reenacted a cannon fire for us? That was so cool! I hope you remember the peacocks we saw, because they were beautiful. I had so much fun with you! Thank you for always showing me a great time! -
My Bat Mitzvah
Every single Thursday, you would take me to Bat Mitzvah practice with Cantor Robuck. Every Thursday, I would count on you, and you were always there for me. Half the time you probably had to listen to me figuring out my haftarah (last minute as usual) right before I go perform it for Cantor. I could always count on that time with you, through all the highs and lows of seventh grade, this was one thing that would remain the same all year. Thank you for always giving me someone to count on! -
One Random, UNIQUE, Night
You come into my room to say goodnight and it goes something like this: Mom: I am so lucky
Jaydin: Because I'm your kid?
Mom: Yes Wow such a good story. But for real, you are always encouraging me and loving me no matter what I do or say. It may not seem like it, but I actually love those constant pep talks :) Thank you for always complimenting me and encouraging me!
