Once back in Morgantown, I stop by Sheetz to get some declious and underrated MTO. I use the automated touch screen to customize my food order. The system has significantly improved over the years, and is probably the most efficient “fast food” in town.

My boyfriend and I start putting together our IKEA furniture. We remember that some of the things we really wanted were out of stock. He has me set a reminder on my phone for the next morning. This will remind me that I need to use the IKEA “click and collect” to secure the extra items we want for the apartment.

After some manly building time in the living room, I decide to set up my new Apple TV. I have significant issues with Xfinity WiFi, but eventually get it all working. It was totally worth the price tag as the system works great (although I did struggle at first.
-
Went to the Apple Store for my boyfriend’s Genius Bar appointment. I was scolded by the worker for thinking the Apple TV remote worked like a Nintendo Wii. I bought one anyways. I have no idea how to use it, but I’m so pumped.
-
Now I’m finally headed home to Morgantown. As I drive, I’m using Bluetooth to play songs from my iTunes/iPhone on the car stereo
-
After the furniture building was finished we watched a little TV in the bedroom. We recently got an Australian Shepherd puppy so we have been watching puppy training videos to get through this adventure
-
It’s finally time for bed. Before puttinh down my phone, I find myself scrolling through Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. The algorithms always throw things out of order so I’m trying to figure out what I’ve read or what is newer media on the platforms.
-
I walk into my job at WVU Medicine Heart and Vascular Institute. I use my security badge to buzz into our secured administration floor.
-
Our entire timecard system is down at the hospital and my payroll submission is due in two hours. Time to panic. It eventually works and I’m able to get my work done (just barely).
-
My phone reminds me about checking if items has restocked for our IKEA order. I log in and use their Warehouse inventory software which lets me know my items are back in stock. However I can’t seem to get the pay screen to come up.
-
After several failed attempts to purchase our items online, I use my phone’s Safari browser and get my items purchased. I text my boyfriend to let him know we’re going back to IKEA tonight.
-
My class starts in less than 30 minutes and I'm still at the hospital. The PRT isn't as quick as it use to be either so I pull out my phone and use the Uber app to get a ride to the downtown campus.
-
Our class activity required us to quiz the class on the readings. My group and I decide to use a new software that I had never heard of called Kahoot. The program allows us to make successfully make a quiz for the class. Although I am new the App it seems pretty user friendly.
-
I’m now back in my office at the hospital. While eating a quick lunch, I get a phone call asking for help with out department SharePoint system. This happens a lot as we have several non-technologically familiar adults. After a quick run through I’m back to work and finishing up my sandwich.
-
My morning alarms on my iPhone start going off. I have a bunch of missed notifications. There was a shooting yesterday in Jacksonville and the victims has been identified. Sadly it turns out that a few of my friends knew him knew him from their hometown.
-
Class is over and it's time to use the PRT to get back to the hospital. The new automated speaker sounds like the voice from The Purge, and the "new system" has significant delays.
-
One of my coworker’s comes to ask for a favor...they need help with our new boardroom equipment. The new systems allows for multiple conferences calls, Skype sessions, and other needs. It takes a little while to understand the connectivity issue, but it’s done.
-
My work at the hospital is done for the day. My boyfriends facetime calls me to let me know he is leaving class and coming to pick me up. We go to the apartment, pick up our puppy and head off to IKEA.
