    The United Nations partition plan was a proposal for Palestine by Untied Nations, it recommended a partition of mandatory Palestine towards the end of the British Mandate. The UN Generally Assembled adopted the plan on November 29th 1947 as resolution 181.

    June 1967 the Israel army launched a defensive strike against Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. This was caused by Nasser declaring his plane to annihilate the Jewish state and military alliance’s with all of Syria and Jordan. For that reason the Israeli army had built up walls all over for extra blockading and shipping to the Israeli port of Eilat. The six day war had led up to cancelling Israel’s surprise attack and ended with the Israeli army occupying Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
