Birthday
I am born in Austria! I always wanted to come to America! I wanted to be rich when I get older. Also I wanted to go becaude of freedom. Lady Liberty will and always enspire me. Another reason I always wanted to have my own property. -
Event 1
I have final arrived to Ellis Island! They checked my eye's for foreign diseases. I pass the check up and they let me in. The man who checked my eye's had very dirty hands. When I had gotten to New York city a man named Boss tweed came. He told me that I had to vote for him. I asked what I would get in returned. He said a job and a place to stay. So I told him that it was a deal. -
Event 2
I have been working in the Skyscraper business for 2 years now! I have gotten a raise from my boss. Instead of working one hour for one dollars I get one hour for three dollars. The house I got from Mr.Tweed had 5 people living in it including me! It was a small area I only had about 50 square feet! -
Event 3
I have finally saved enough money to go to the West. I heard that if you travel West you can get a plot of land. I just needed to save up money to buy my way there and also to get the necessary material to start a farm. Money is hard to make in America but the stuff you can do there is amazing. all I make is fifteen dollars and if I want to work on weekends I get at least seventeen dollars. -
Event 4
I was finally moving out West! I have set the day we would arrive to my plot. We stopped at California, im going to try to find gold if I am lucky.I was there al day and I didn't find squat so I was heading uo the trail to the camp. Suddenly I got jumped by a bunch of white men! They beat me into a bloody pulp! I was able to hide my money while they were beating me up thankfully. Then after a few hours I had the energy and determination to walk to the camp. -
Event 5
I have been in my plot for at least a year and a half. I am so happy, I get to live my dream!. The land is so pretty, the grass is so green and perfect for crops. The valley is amazing, wit all of the wildlife around there. This is my dream to live in the west and to become a farmer!
