John Kays invention was made in 1733 and it was called the flying shuttle. No it was not a flying car it was actually a threader. It had many advantage, one was that you only need one person now and it did more then just one thread (80). One of its disadvantages was that if you improperly threaded it it could possible mess up the machine. Now a days we have machine operated flying shuttles.
