    Girls came to work 12 hour shifts and live in boarding homes in the mills 'invented,' by Francis Cabot Lowell. This increased job opportunities for young, unmarried womenm. It also gave them a chance for education.

    John Deere created this light weight plow with a sturdy steel blade. Designed for heavier soils, it made plowing farms much faster because the plow could break the hard soil. This was important because it increased farming production.

    /1764. First created by James Hargreaves , then later the sewing machine came out, invented by Elias Howe, these machines weave clothe and sew clothing. This increased clothing production, industry production, as well as the need for cotton.
