  • The Submarine

    The Submarine
    Robert Fulton created the first submarine in the Seaport of Brest, France in 1800. He was involved in the development of submarine mines and the torpedo, so he knew what todo to create a functionable submarine. It wasa created to be a another strategy for naval war. The importance of it was that submarines could be a fatal and efficient fight when it comes to war. THe submarine is a marine vehicle that could take people under water and stay there for up to 4-5 hours.
  • The Telegraph

    The Telegraph
    Was created by Samuel F.B. Morse in the Cover of Cork, Ireland. The telegraph consisted of a Morse Code, which is a series of long and short tones called dots and dashes, to communicate messages one letter at a time. The telegraph was made without electricity and was a system of tall poles with movable arms. It was created to transmit a conversation over long distances. The telegraph was important because spies could gather arms, intelligence, and quickly transmit it back to their superiors.

    The Typewriter
    The first functionable typewriter was invented by Christopher Latham Sholes in Milawaukee, Wisconsin. It was a mechanical machine for writing in characters similar to those produced by printer's type by means of keyboard-operated types striking a ribbon to transfer ink or crabon impressions onto paper. It was made to create a faster writing process. Typewriter followed the concept that each key was attached to a typebar that had the corresponding letter molded nto its striking head.
  • The Cotton Gin

    The Cotton Gin
    WAs creatd by Eli Whitney in New Haven Connecticut. It was a machine that separated seeds from fibers, such as cotton. He created it to speed up the processs of picking seeds from cotton. Whitney invented it in 10 days and within a year of graduating from college. THe cotton gin changed the agriculture industry by one slave cleaning up to fifty pounds of cotton in one day. Also, it produced cotton cheaper and more efficient.
