Into the Wild

  • I Graduate From Emroy

I have graduated from college and received my education. I can now travel as much as I can bear without the restrictions placed on me by mom and dad.
  • I Abandon My Car

I decided to leave my car behind today. How else would i be able to truly experience my journey if I'm not walking on foot. I have decided to go by Alex Supertramp, I'm no longer Chris McCandless.
  • I Meet Jan and Bob

I met a very kind couple today, Jan and Bob Burres. They offered me a ride when they saw me hitchhiking along U.S. Highway 101. They were very concerned for me and fed me too.
  • Carthage

I left Jan and Bob, I had to continue my journey. It's not really my place to stay in that type of society. I met Wayne Westerburg in Carthage, South Dakota. Offered me a job for a while. I think I might take it and stay a while to collect some money I need for my trip.
  • Crossed the Border

I have had one of the greatest adventures of my journey so far. I took the Colorado River down across the border to Mexico and lived with only myself for a couple of months. I think I can make it on my own by living off of the land in Alaska.
  • Bullhead City

Bullhead City might be one of the best towns I've ever been in. I might stay for a while, I got myself a job. I won't follow the rules of the job of course, but it is nice to be living in a city again.
  • Ron Franz

I decided staying in Bullhead wasn't what was best for me. I moved on to California and met Ron Franz, poor guy lost his family. He views me as his family now, but I don't mind. He's done so much for me.
  • Made it to Alaska!!

I have finally made it to the Fairbanks, Alaska where I will live off the land, all on my own, away from society. A big thanks to Jim Gallien for dropping me off since it was so hard to find a ride here in this type of territory.
  • I Need Help

I am trapped in the wild and am very sick due to some potato seeds I ate. I hope help comes soon, I can feel myself getting weaker. But if I die, I will die happy and glad.
