Informed Prediction

  • Now (cont.)

(cont.) My initiative will also affect my plans, because if I do not take the initiative to volunteer and discover opportunities to learn and gain experience, I will not be able to earn the required qualifications for my career. The courses I take will affect my pathways, because I need to take courses that give me a solid background in the career cluster that I wish to pursue (i.e computer science).
  • Now

The decisions I make now will be very important to my future.
For example, how I develop my skills. Developing and improving my skills now means that I will be better off later.
My skills in self-regulation will affect my future plans because it will affect how I am able to improve in my studies, learning, skills, and etc. If I do not carefully judge my learning progresses, I will not be able to improve, and therefore will not be able to reach the expected level of my future career.
