    Invented the first commercially practical condensing steam engine. Which helped transport coal and other metals and needs to other places. He used Bituminous coal to make it move because it was safer to use.

    He made the Water Frame,It was given this name because it needed energy from a watermill to power. It was large for cottage work and had to be placed in a large factories. This will woven clothes.

    He made the Spinning Jenny. This was again made to make things. But this was called Jenny because his daughter helped with the idea so he named it after her. It makes clothes really fast with 8 spindles
  • Adam Smith

    Wrote "The Wealth Of Nation", which he details first system of political economy. The book was about our world and what has happened to it.

    He was producing pig iron in a furnace fuelled by coke rather than charcoal. This was a major stepped forward to keeping houses warm and trains moving
