    Jethro Tull
    Jethro created the horse-drawn seed drill. It's purpose was to sow the seeds in neat rows without having to do it by hand. It was a big invention at the time.

    He created the coke-fired furnace. The use was to heat houses, it opened up new windows for uses of natural resources because it did not use coal like the basic inventions of the time.

    Thomas Newcomen
    He first created a steam pump with John Calley, but he went on to make a better "Newcomen engine". This invention was used for years to drain mines and raise water to power waterwheels.

    He invented the first condensing steam engine with James Watt. The steam engine was used to power things. He was a chemist and devoted most of his time to it. John had many achievements in that field.

    Richard created the water frame. It was used to produce cotton yarn for warp.

    James created a jenny. He developed this spinning wheel with the purpose of spinning multiple threads at a time.

    Samuel began by trying to make a better version of the spinning jenny. He created a machine that would reproduce the actions of hand spinning.This was called the spinning mule. He was not very successful.
  • Nicolas LeBlanc

    Nicolas LeBlanc
    He created the LeBlanc process. In the process, salt was treated with sulfuric acid sodium sulfate. Then roasted with limestone or chalk and coal to make ash, consisted mostly of sodium carbonate and calcium sulfide, this was dissolved in water and crystallized.

    Created the cotton gin. It was used to make it easy for farmers to clean the seed and extract the fiber, rather than doing it all by hand this machine made it faster.

    Alessandro made breakthroughs in science. He began studying metals to generate electric currents. One thing led to another and he produced the first electric battery.

    He was one of the founders of a Telegraph company. He went on to later create the first transatlantic cable. They used this cable for telegraph communications.

    Elias created sewing machines. The purpose of this was to make sewing faster and more efficient, rather then hand sewing everything. Mass production.
