    Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui became emperor in 1438. He starts taking over neighboring tribes and spreading Incan territory. He builds the city Machu Picchu.

    Pachacuti became emperor on january 1, 1450. He was the 9th emperor of the inca empire. When the chancas invaded instead of staying and fighting he ran away.

    After getting permission to take over the Inca, Pizarro came back to South America with a huge force. He also had the help of thousands of neighboring tribes that wanted the Incas to lose their power. Even though the Inca had a much larger force their empire was weakened by the civil war and smallpox brought by the Spanish.

    Atahualpa was trapped and killed by british conqueror Francisco Pizarro in November 16 1532. He lures him into a feast in the emperor's honor. Than burned the unarmed Incans.

    The spanish conqueror planned to burn Atahualpa at the stake. Pizarro said he would give mercy if Atahualpa would convert to christian. Atahualpa submitted, but was executed by strangulation.

    After his brother Atahualpa was killed they put his brother Manco Inca as the new emperor. He tried cooperating with the spanish but they started having internal fights. He would sometimes lead attacks against the spanish.
